Doctor Ashley Appold is a Tampa native, growing up locally, until pursuing her Bachelors of Science at the Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL (go Noles!). She then made a big move ‘down under’ to Sydney, Australia for veterinary school at the globally ranked University of Sydney. While in Australia, she worked as a veterinary technician at a speciality Emergency Care facility, and published numerous research articles on Animal Behavior. Doctor Appold graduated with her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2022. After veterinary school, Doctor Appold was eager to bring her knowledge set home to Tampa where she has been practicing small animal medicine at Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic since April 2022.Doctor Appold takes a great deal of pride in serving the pets and people of her own community here in South Tampa. Her special interests include, but are not limited to, internal medicine and dentistry.When out of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, Australian Shepherd ‘Milo’, Cockatoo ‘Pinky’ and two horses. She is an avid horse rider, sourdough enthusiast, and loves travel.
