Dr. Amanda Fleischman grew up in Miami, Florida and did her undergraduate studies at Tulane University. In 2014, she earned her DVM, as well as her Certificate in Shelter Medicine, from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Following a one-year internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson, she settled in Denver, Colorado, where she practiced small animal medicine for over eight years. She returned to Florida when she and her family relocated to the Tampa area in 2023.

Dr. Fleischman has a special interest in veterinary dentistry and preventative care. She is passionate about forming relationships with her patients and clients and helping to improve the human animal bond with compassionate care and guidance.

When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, her animal family (dogs Zoey and Goldie and cat Lily), and exploring the city of Tampa.

She looks forward to sharing her passion for helping animals with the patients and families of Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic.
