Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic
Diagnostic Ultrasounds
An ultrasound is a highly useful imaging tool that uses sound waves to make pictures of organs, tissues, and other structures inside your pet’s body.

Every Tuesday, a board certified internist comes to Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic to perform outpatient abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms.
Why would my pet need an ultrasound?
A veterinary ultrasound is an invaluable resource for evaluating various conditions. It can detect alterations in the heart, abdominal organs, and assist in the recognition of any cysts or tumors that may be present. With the ability for real-time monitoring, ultrasounds are also utilized for pregnancy diagnosis and development monitoring.
